Analytics data does double duty as it is fed into Qwiser’s
Machine Learning module where the information it provides is used to cleverly
adjust the order in which results are displayed to shoppers. These processes
take place automatically.
Machine learning acts as a real-time merchandising tool, continually promoting
the most appealing items to your shoppers for each query.
For example, when a shopper submits a query for “Vitamin C” in a vitamin supply
shop, if “Vitamin C with rose hips – 500 mg. tablets” has proven to be the most
popular with the site’s shoppers when searching for “Vitamin C”, it will be
displayed at the top of the first page of results in response to the query.
Immediately finding the truly desired item increases the likelihood the shopper
will make a purchase.
Qwiser Machine Learning-adjusted results reflect the real-time interests of
shoppers and as such, display order changes over time. Importantly, unpopular,
albeit relevant, products are pushed further down in the results list so they do
not take up valuable page real estate.
